Full-Day Amalfi Coast Experience from Sorrento, Naples or Salerno

Overview

The Amalfi Coast can be complicated and time-consuming to visit on your own. Taking a shared minivan or minibus is the simplest and most affordable way to enjoy the sights. This eight/nine-hour trip begins in Sorrento, Naples, Salerno and heads south for the breathtaking drive (lightly narrated by your driver-or narrated by your guide), and an hour or two in each of the three main towns - Positano, Amalfi and Ravello - before returning to Sorrento, Naples, Salerno.

   Ravello and its noble villas keep alive the grandeur of a bygone era. Perched high on a hillside plateau, Ravello has stunning views of the Amalfi coastline, overlooking Minori, Maiori, and beyond. Immortalized in the films of Roberto Rossellini, the city of Ravello seduces its visitors with its contrast of opulent colours and displays of luxury and the absolute tranquillity that pervades it.
