Tokyo Go-Kart through Shibuya and Shinjuku (IDP Required)

Overview

You MUST have an International Driving Permit issued in the format of the 1949 Geneva Convention and driving license from your country of origin and passport. EXCEPT for participants with licenses issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, or Monaco. In which case you will need a Japanese translation of your license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF/Online Application for Japanese Translation) and your own driving license. Failure to bring all required documents will result in cancellation of the tour without the possibility of a refund.

Itinerary

1. Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden

   Pass on of the most beautiful parks in Tokyo, Shinjuku Gyoen National Park. This park is very popular for Sakura viewing during the spring season.

2. Omotesando

   Pass by the high class shopping area known as Omotesando, see the expensive cars pass you by as you cruise through.

3. Harajuku Station

   Harajuku is a trendy area in Tokyo, experience the wacky fashion as you zoom by.

4. Shibuya Crossing

   Chill at the traffic lights and watch thousands of people cross the famous Shibuya Scramble crossing.

5. Yoyogi-kōen

   Yoyogi Park is a large city park in Shibuya, with lawns, ponds and forested areas. It is neighbored with the famous Meiji Jingu shrine.

6. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Buildings

   The Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku is often visited by tourists for its free observation decks which provide good panoramic views of Tokyo and beyond.

7. Kabukicho District

   Kabukichō is an entertainment district in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan. Kabukichō is considered a red-light district with a high concentration of host and hostess clubs, love hotels, shops, restaurants, and nightclubs, and is often called the "Sleepless Town". Nearby is the renowned Golden Gai, which has its narrow streets and small eating/drinking bars.

How to use your ticket

It's very important that you have the correct driving documentation for driving in Japan when arriving to our shop. 1. You MUST have all three documents below; Driving license from your country of origin International driving permit issued under the Geneva Convention 1949 (MUST be issued from within your own country) Passport 2. If your driving license is from SWITZERLAND, GERMANY, FRANCE, TAIWAN, BELGIUM, ESTONIA, or MONACO, An original driving license An official Japanese translation by the authorized organization (Online Application for Japanese Translation | JAF) Passport 3. US military SOFA License or Combination of Active Military ID and State Side Driver's License Important notice about driving license ※Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your countries approved issuer. Some common examples are;  Australia – AAA  USA – AAA or AATA  UK – AA or RAC  Canada – CAA ※International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan. ※If you cannot show a hard copy of your IDP on the day of the activity, you will be unable to participate without the possibility of reimbursement. ※Your international driving permit (IDP) should also be in booklet form. Not paper form. ※It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. • Our cancellation policy is below;
• Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
• If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
• Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
• It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are not sure, please reach out to us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.
