Whale Watching Zodiac Adventure in Anacortes

Overview

Set off on a dynamic excursion aboard a Zodiac-style boat departing from Anacortes, Washington. This trip is dedicated to observing marine and coastal wildlife in the waters surrounding the San Juan Islands. The itinerary focuses on searching for whales, porpoises, and sea lions, while also spotting eagles and other local species. The Zodiac format allows for fast movement and closer encounters with the animals. To ensure passenger comfort in marine conditions, Cruiser suits, hats, and gloves are provided to keep you warm and dry during the 3.5-hour voyage.

Activity itinerary

We’re lucky to have four different species of whales in our area: orcas, humpbacks, grays, and minkes. Connecting with these majestic animals in their natural habitat is exhilarating! Although our focus is whale watching, we will also encounter many other species of marine mammals and birds along the way. The incredible diversity of local wildlife means no two trips are alike, so it’s worth coming out more than once! NOTE: The minimum age to participate is 6 years old. Children five and under are not permitted. Also, this tour is not appropriate during pregnancy or for people with back or neck injuries. Thank you for understanding! Check-in at our office is 30 minutes prior to your departure time. Please arrive promptly so we can get you fitted in a cruiser suit and ready for the tour!
