You’ll explore the twin churches, Sevanavank and Arakelots, and feel the tranquil atmosphere that has drawn monks and travelers here for centuries.

2. Kecharis Monastery

   After soaking in the serenity of Sevan, we continue toward the resort town of Tsaghkadzor, nestled in the forested slopes of the Teghenis Mountains. Here stands the Kecharis Monastery, a remarkable complex dating back to the 11th century. Surrounded by towering pines and crisp mountain air, Kecharis offers a peaceful glimpse into Armenia’s medieval architecture and spiritual history. As the sun sets behind the mountains, the golden light on the stone walls creates a picture-perfect ending to our first day of exploration.
