These tickets allow all-day access to the iconic steamship, dockyard and two museums at Bristol Dockyards. Sitting proudly on the glass ‘sea’, SS Great Britain dominates Bristol’s historic waterfront. Dressed with flags and ready for departure, just as the ship looked when it was launched in 1843, our friendly team are ready to welcome visitors on board. The ship, designed by Britain's most iconic engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, has been painstakingly restored to recreate Victorian life at sea on the world’s first great luxury liner. Climb aboard and explore scenes so life-like you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. There are two fascinating museums, as well as the dry dock, where the ship was originally built, to explore, providing hours of engrossing wonder.

Bristol Dockyards
There is so much to see here at Brunel’s SS Great Britain in Bristol. Explore the historic dockyard and be sure to head beneath the glass sea into the dry dock. Step back in time in the Dockyard Museum as you prepare to board the SS Great Britain herself. Alive with sights, sounds and even smells, set sail on the world’s first great ocean liner. Don’t miss the Being Brunel museum, discovering Brunel’s extraordinary achievements and stepping into his office and family dining room. And head behind-the-scenes to see inside a working shipyard.
