Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens
Once we reach the top, you will be rewarded with breathtaking views along with the pleasant aroma of herbs and flowers. From there, we will slowly walk through one of Japan’s largest herb gardens, where approximately 75,000 herbs and flowers of approximately 200 species bloom all year round. After spending some time in these beautiful gardens, we will return to the ropeway station and prepare for our descent. After landing, we will start walking towards Kitano Ijinkan. We can see different styles of the houses. Some are Western, some are modern and of course some are Japanese. Finally we are here, the exotic Ijinkan street.
Kitano Ijinkan-gai
Continue walking down the road until we reach this Starbucks in Kitano area. It is listed as one of the tangible cultural properties in Japan. This Starbucks is very beautiful inside and out. It is also a popular photo spot. Then, we will continue on our way to the Ikuta Shrine. It is the oldest shrine in the area and probably also one of the oldest in Japan.
Ikuta-Jinja Shrine
Arriving at Ikuta Shrine, the oldest shrine in the prefecture. You can experience water fortune telling at Ikuta Forest.
Chinatown (Nankinmachi)
We will have lunch at Kobe Chinatown Nankinmachi. In addition to sitting in restaurants, you can also try a variety of street food in Chinatown. If you finish before the meeting time, take a short walk around Motomachi Shopping Street next to Chinatown.
Itami Morohaku and Nada's fresh sake - Itami and Nada Gogo, a famous brewing area born from sake
Finish our trip by returning to the port area and admiring the vivid night view. As a port city, Kobe is of course very close to the sea. The Harbourland is where you can enjoy the beautiful illumination of the harbour. We can calm our minds after a long day of walking while enjoying the refreshing sea breeze.
You will see us as soon as you leave the Shinkansen station. We are waiting here, between the 7-Eleven and the cafe, in front of the directory. We will be holding up a sign that says “Snow Monkey Resorts.”
The return is at the same place.
