A low frills express tour of the Great Ocean Road designed for cruise tourists and others who have limited time but want to experience the key attractions found on the famous road. A shortened tour which packs in many locations thanks to the efficiently designed itinerary. A later start means you sleep longer, and we also miss the traffic. Taking the inland route, we enter the Great Ocean Road at the far end and make our way towards Melbourne, avoiding the crowds. On this private tour you will visit well known locations, as well as numerous lesser known, less crowded, but amazing, locations where you have the opportunity to take photos and enjoy the amazing characteristics of each location. There are ample opportunities for toilet breaks and stops to photograph wildlife. As with all tours provided by 69 Tours, this is a private tour, which offers some room for flexibility, is never rushed, conducted in a relaxed, easy going fashion, by an experienced local guide.

Winchelsea War Memorial
Stopping at the small outdoor War Memorial in the rural town of Winchelsea makes for a great toilet stop and provides an excellent opportunity to see flocks of wild Corellas, and experience an authentic Australian rural town with its heritage buildings and unique character.
Port Campbell National Park
Your first glimps into the amazing views from the cliffs of the Great Ocean Road. From a little known location you will see far out into the "Shipwreck Coast" with the stacks of the Twelve Apostles in the distance. This location provides a great overview of the area and makes for some amazing panoramic photos.
The Grotto
A lesser known location that you will visit which is less frequented by tourists, yet provides amazing views from a gorge that includes a number of blowholes. A great place for photo sessions.
London Bridge
At this location you will see that London Bridge really has fallen down. You will be informed that for people "in the know" this location is the London Arch, and you will be entertained to find out how a secret affair had became public news...literally. This location is one of the key highlights on the Great Ocean Road.
Port Campbell Scenic Lookout
This scenic lookout provides a great overview of the town of Port Cambell below. You will see one of the very few places which provides a break in the cliffs to allow access to the beach. You will have the option of doing a self guide across a scenic suspension bridge to the town below.
The Twelve Apostles
The famous Twelve Apostles. Have fun counting the various limestone stacks which form the Twelve Apostles which have been formed by erosion. An amazing sight, but there are much fewer than twelve.
Loch Ard Gorge
Due to unstable cliffs, this location is closed to the public until further notice. We will do a drive-by instead, and visit the nearby beach below the Gibson Steps instead.
Gibsons Steps
A dramatic coastal attraction located just past the Twelve Apostles, consisting of 86 steps carved into a 70-meter cliff, leading down to a wild, scenic beach where you can view the towering limestone stacks known as Gog and Magog.
