Panch Kedar Yatra is a pilgrimage journey in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, India, undertaken to visit five ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. This sacred yatra includes Kedarnath, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and a part of the Chota Char Dham Yatra, as well as Tungnath, the highest Shiva temple in the world. Each temple symbolizes a different body part of Lord Shiva: Kedarnath (Hump), Madhyamaheshwar (Navel), Tungnath (Arms), Rudranath (Face), and Kalpeshwar (Hair). The journey offers a mix of spiritual significance and adventure, with treks through deep forests, alpine meadows, and challenging mountain terrain. Along the way, travelers can witness the beauty of remote Himalayan villages like Ransi, Sagar, and Chopta, where the warmth of Garhwali hospitality and culture adds to the experience.
