Explore one of the world's oldest ecosystems on a full-day trip to the Daintree Rainforest, a World Heritage site. This tour combines wild nature, ancient landscapes, and indigenous culture. The programme begins at Mossman Gorge with a traditional welcome and smoking ceremony organised by the Kuku Yalanji people, followed by free time to swim in the crystal-clear waters. You will then cross the Daintree River by ferry to cruise its waters, keeping an eye out for saltwater crocodiles and exotic birds. The excursion continues with a guided walk through the lush rainforest to Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef. Lunch is included in the package. Transport is provided in an air-conditioned vehicle with hotel pick-up. Guidance is provided in English for a group of up to 27 participants.
