Overview

Departing from Chan May Port (Huế) or Tien Sa Port (Da Nang), this excursion takes you to discover the highlights of Central Vietnam. Pick-up and return to the ship are organised for a stress-free experience. Depending on the departure port and the chosen option, the itinerary varies. From Chan May, the route includes Lap An Lagoon and the Hai Van Pass. From Tien Sa, you can visit My Khe Beach. The shared programme includes the iconic Dragon Bridge in Da Nang, as well as the caves and pagodas of the Marble Mountains. The day continues with a visit to Hoi An Ancient Town, where you will explore the Japanese Bridge, Chinese assembly halls, and French colonial houses amidst colourful lanterns. A stop is also planned to discover Non Nuoc stone carving. Several options are available: private tours with a guide and lunch (at Tra Que Vegetable Village or in town), small group tours (maximum 12 people) also including a guide and meal, or a transport-only option with a driver without a guide or meals.

1. Lap An Lagoon

At the top of Hai Van Pass, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or fresh juice while taking in the million-dollar view — a truly unforgettable experience. 3. Dragon Bridge

   Stop at Han River in Da Nang City: After crossing the Hai Van Pass, we arrive in Da Nang City and stop along the bank of the Han River. Here, we'll spend about 15 minutes at the Love Bridge and the iconic Dragon Bridge, perfect for taking beautiful photos. Measuring 666 meters in length, the Dragon Bridge is shaped like a golden dragon and is one of Da Nang's most famous landmarks

4. The Marble Mountains

   Marble Mountain: Marble Mountain is a cluster of five marble and limestone peaks located just south of Da Nang City, Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Water, Fire, Metal, Earth, and Wood. We will visit the best caves and highlights of Marble Mountains. During the Vietnam War, the Viet Cong (VC) used these caves as hiding places and field hospitals, adding a historical layer to your visit. You'll also have the chance to see the old heliport built by the American Air Force during the war. Several Buddhist sanctuaries are nestled within the mountains, making this a must-visit tourist destination that should not be missed.After that, we will stop by at a 500-year-old sculpture village to view an amazing statues made out of marble at the foot of the mountain.

   Nestled at the foot of the Marble Mountains in Da Nang, Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village is a cultural gem showcasing the artistry and heritage of Vietnam. 6. Hoi An Ancient Town

   After lunch, we will continue our journey to Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site recognized in 1999. This enchanting city is known for its narrow alleys, vibrant streets adorned with lanterns and flowers, and its unique blend of Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, and French colonial architecture. We will spend time visiting the Japanese Bridge, a unique covered bridge that is a symbol of Hoi An. We will also explore the Hoi An Museum of Folklore to learn about the farming and fishing tools used in the past. Stepping into an assembly hall built a few hundred years ago by Chinese merchants, you'll gain further insights into Hoi An's rich history and culture. Please note that depending on your ship's departure time, some stops might be shorter or adjusted to fit the schedule. After exploring this charming town, you'll say goodbye and drive back to your ship, bidding farewell to our team.

7. Japanese Covered Bridge

   You'll see some of the temples, markets and old bridges, such as the Japanese Covered Bridge across the Thu Bon River and Chinese Assembly Halls, and hear about the history of the town from your guide. You'll have time to look into antique shops and walk around town, even discover tailors, where you can get a dress made within hours
