In just two hours, you will try delicious tastings from 4 food vendors in Atlanta’s oldest market and become Southern cooks with a hands-on Atlanta cooking class. You’ll learn fascinating Atlanta history and get a close look at Southern cooking and Georgia’s most famous foods, including peaches, collards, and pecans. And, you will love learning how to make the perfect Southern biscuit. During December, you'll make fun snowman decorated biscuits!

Activity itinerary

In this ultimate Atlanta food experience, you’ll enjoy a historic market food tour with delicious tastings from four vendors plus learn how to make the perfect Southern biscuit in a hands-on class. (And, yes, we do all of this in just two hours!) There is a large parking lot attached to the back side of the market, and plenty of metered street parking nearby. Please also note that due to the hyperlocal nature of the market and that we purchase from small businesses, daily tastings are subject to change without notice. If you have any dietary restrictions we ask that you allow 24 hours minimum in order to make any amendments.
