Meet Boston, after dark. The real Boston. The Boston of terrifying serial killers, infamous gangsters, urban legends, bizarre industrial accidents, unsolved crimes, ghost stories, and other extraordinary tales. Led by a Boston local, this is Boston like you've never seen it. Our tour is capped to 15 guests so you are part of a conversation, not a lecture! This 90 minute/1.5 mile walking tour takes you through two of Boston's most notorious neighborhoods; the North End and the West End. Please wear comfortable walking shoes. This is not a kid-friendly tour. Children under 13 are not allowed, and parental discretion is advised for those 13 and up. This tour contains foul language, and discussions of death and violence. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are responsible for their own and their children's behavior. This tour will run in light rain. We will cancel for unsafe or unpleasant weather conditions. Tour requires at least two guests to operate.
Choose your option when you book.
Government Center
The famous, or, infamous Scollay Square. Boston's original "red light district" and home to some of the wildest places and stories in Boston's history.
West End
Wander the streets of the historic West End of Boston and hear about tales of female serial killers, Boston's most famous gangster, and the harrowing tale of the murder of a pregnant woman that set racial tensions ablaze.
Brinks Job Building
A wild tale of the heist that at the time was considered the largest robbery in the history of the United States, and went unsolved for six years.
Great Molasses Flood Plaque
Site of one of the most bizarre industrial accidents in American history. Fact truly is stranger than fiction.
Copp's Hill Burying Ground
Well known as one of Boston's most haunted locations, you'll hear why, and all about who haunts this spooky, historic cemetery.
North End
Walk through the North End, home to Italian immigrants throughout Boston's history, and well known to be the place to get some of the best food you've ever had. Hear about the history of this unique neighborhood, including the brave women who lived here during World War 2, and the dangerous mobsters who roamed these streets.
Please show us your confirmation email upon arrival.
