Barbados Small-Group Monkey Feeding Experience

Overview

For the young and the young at heart feeding time at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is an exciting event. The sanctuary staff will be delivering food for the monkeys within the forest, attracting wildlife that inhabit this special place. Deer, tortoise, iguana, peacocks and of course the highlight is the Barbados Green Monkey. This short but fun tour visits the reserve just in time for this event. An added bonus to the tour is a stop North Point where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic surf crashing into the cliffs.

1. Barbados Wildlife Reserve

   For the young and the young at heart feeding time at the Barbados Wildlife Reserve is an exciting event; deer, tortoise, iguana, peacocks and of course the highlight is the Barbados Green Monkey. The monkeys are not captive and therefore have the freedom to come in and out of the reserve. Feeding time is the most opportune time to view them at the reserve and we do see them there 99% of the time.  An added bonus to the tour is a stop at Barclays Park on the East Coast and North Point where you will enjoy spectacular views of the Atlantic surf crashing into the cliffs. 2. Animal Flower Cave

   We visit North Point Barbados for the great views of the waves crashing onto the cliff. The Animal Flower Cave is also located at North Point But the entrance fees to the cave are not included in this tour. During the Months of Dec to April Humpback whales migrate through the Caribbean. North Point is one of the popular viewing sights.

PLEASE READ ALLL OF THE BELLOW INFORMATION AS IT GREATLY IMPACTS YOUR EXCURSION. We offer pick-ups at close to 300 locations across Barbados, a combination of Hotels, condominiums and villas. Please note that we only pick up from Hotels and Villas along the south and west coast. If your tour is NOT a private tour, you may have up to 4 other pick-up points beside your own pick up at your accommodation. Most of the time these pick-ups are done within a 5k distance of but occasionally they are within 8km. Some tours the picks ups are along the route to the first attraction so they may be more spread out across a wider section of the island. Pick-ups are arranged in such manner, so they do not take up a lot of your day. Because we are unaware of where these pick-ups will be at the time of your booking, we will give you a wide window of time for your pick-up. On the afternoon before your tour, we will contact you by email to provide you with a more accurate pick-up time within the window provided to you at this time. YOUR PICK-UP WINDOW IS: 8:30am-10:40am PLEASE NOTE !! If you do not enter or select a pick up location your tour will be cancelled as without this information we can not collect you for the tour. PLEASE submit the name of your hotel or accommodation at the time of booking!

Because we are unaware of where these pick-ups will be at the time of your booking, we will give you a wide window of time for your pick-up. On the afternoon before your tour, we will contact you by email to provide you with a more accurate pick-up time within the window provided to you at this time. YOUR PICK-UP WINDOW IS: 8:00-10am Please note you will be contacted the day before your tour with you exact pick up time. If you are not contacted please call 246 231-2932 to reconfirm your pick up time as times can sometimes change due to pick up schedules for the day. Please note the following: It is vital to be on time for your tour, please be ready and waiting in the lobby of your hotel. Our guides can only wait a maximum of 5 minutes for you if you are late. If you have not already done so please provide us with your room number, if you have not yet checked in to your resort please email us at reservations@barbadostoursandexcursions.com after you have and provide the number. This will make your pick up process run efficiently. If you are not staying at a hotel please provide the location pin and a contact number that you can be reached at during your stay. Our guides can contact you on whatsapp so if you have a whatsapp number that is best.

What to know before you go

• Specialized infant seats are available
• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• We require a minimum of 2 persons to run this tour if the minimum has not been met you will be contacted at least 36 hours before to cancel the tours and you will be given an alternate date or refunded
• PLEASE NOTE !! If you do not enter or select a pick up location your tour will be cancelled as without this information we can not collect you for the tour. PLEASE submit the name of your hotel or accommodation at the time of booking. If your accommodation is not listed please select the closest hotel to your accommodation. Once your booking is made please then contact us through the message center to advise us of the location you are staying. Please be mindful we only pick up from coastal areas along the South and West Coast unless you are booked on a private tour or your booking is 10 or more persons. In such cases we can make exceptions.
• If you suffer from motion sickness, we recommend taking precautions before the start of the tour. Please also advise your tour guide. Whilst we can sympathize and will try to make you as comfortable as possible our island roads can be bumpy at windy. We must also ensure we take care of all our customers and ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle. If you are ill on board, you will be required to reimburse the driver before the end of the tour for the cleaning fee of between US seventy five and one hundred and fifty dollars.
