Transfagarasan & Transalpina these routes are the most spectacular in Romania, arguably in the world. It is not only our opinion, but you can trust Jeremy from Top Gear. It is said that the Transalpina was built under King Carol II and rebuilt during World War II by German troops and it is called The King’s Road by the locals. You really need to make this fantastic routes, in fact, should be done by any serious motorcycle-traveler.

Discover with us the amazing Transalpina and Transfagarasan, the most spectacular roads in Romania!
DAY1-Welcome to Romania! We pick you up from the airport and drive to the beautiful city of Bucharest where we get accommodated. We spend a relaxing evening during which we have the pleasure to meet you and invite you to our welcome dinner. DAY 2-Hunters lodge We leave Bucharest and go to Olanesti, the resort town helping you recover your inner balance and health with its therapeutic waters from the mineral springs located on shadowy alleys. We accommodate you in a beautiful family lodge located in a forest, near a mountain stream. DAY 3-Curtea de Arges, Legend of Manole We are on our way to visit another rare beauty, Pahonie Hermitage, a church built under a large rock with a waterfall nearby running ice-cold mountain water. We go up mountain roads, through exquisite forests. The landscapes are unique and the place breathes calming beauty. We continue our adventure to the town of Curtea de Arges where we spend the night. DAY 4-Poenari Fortress, Transfagarasan road We start our day with a rich breakfast since we have a 1480-step climb ahead of us! We visit the fortress of Poenari, supposedly Vlad Tepes’ hideaway from the Turks. We continue our trip with a visit to Vidraru Dam and dinner at Capra Cabin, and then we ride on the most famous road in Europe: TRANSFAGARASAN. On the mountaintop, we have the opportunity to admire the crystal green water of Lake Balea. DAY 5-Transylvania, Sibiu city We have a rest in the beautiful city of Sibiu, a bohemian atmosphere behind medieval walls. We end the day with a delicious traditional Romanian dinner. DAY 6-Sighisoara fortress We leave for the fortress of Sighisoara. However, before getting there, we have a stop to visit the amazing settlement of Biertan, one of the most visited villages in Transylvania. We continue our trip to Sighisoara, one of the few medieval fortresses that are still inhabited, registered in the World Heritage of UNESCO. The medieval fortress of Sighisoara is historically related to Vlad Tepes’ father, Vlad Dracul, who lived in this fortress. DAY 7-Dracula's Castle On the 7th day, we are on our way to Dracula’s Castle, a place with so much fame that does not need any presentation! DAY 8-Farewell After a beautiful adventure in Romania, after making new friends and connections, the 8th day is the day when we drive you to the airport. We hope that you leave a little nostalgic, yet happy, because this is what makes us happy. We look forward to having you back!
