This full day trip is the best way to discover the famous area of Transylvania and it includes the most important and unique tourist attractions in Romania: Sinaia with its Peles Castle, emblem of the Romanian royalty, a highly valuable historical and artistic monument, the fascinating Bran Castle built in the 13th century, wrapped in the legend of Count Dracula and one of the most visited cities in Romania – Brasov. Itinerary

1. Peleș Castle

   Upon arrival in Sinaia, called “Pearl of the Carpathians” due to the beauty of its natural setting and the elegance of its architecture, visit the Peles Castle, former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family and emblematic of the Romanian Royalty. You will spend up to 2 h maximum here, it all depends on the road traffic and general schedule.

2. Château de Bran

   Continue to Bran, famous for the imposing fortress connected to the legend of Count Dracula. Hear tales about the real-life Vlad the Impaler, said to have inspired Bram Stoker. Get panoramic views of the surrounding mountains from the remains of the citadel. Enjoy some free time to find keepsakes in the souvenir market. You will spend up to 2 h maximum here, it all depends on the road traffic and general schedule

3. Brasov

   Fringed by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains and resplendent with Gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical attractions, Brasov is one of the most visited places in Romania. You will spend up to 2 h maximum here, it all depends on the road traffic and general schedule.

What to know before you go

• Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
• Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking difficulties or in a wheelchair
• Please know that Peles Castle is closed to the public on Mondays through the year and on Tuesdays from August 1st 2024 to May 1st 2025. Should your tour fall within this period, the itinerary will be adjusted to include an exterior view of Peles Castle, with extended visits to Bran Castle and the city of Brasov. Please note that the itinerary may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances, such as changes to castle policies.
• Children under 7 years old are not allowed.
• Please note that transfer duration are estiamtes and may vary based on traffic conditions and time of day
• Please refrain from consuming food, hot beverages, alcohol or smoking within the vehicle
• Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during the tour in order to participate
• IMPORTANT! 1) If you want to visit Peles Castle please buy tickets in advance only for the time slot (10:00-11:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-11:00) because there is a maximum capacity of 500 tickets per time slot. 2) If you have your trip on Friday, Saturday or Sunday please check the availability of the time slot in advance. 3) If you made the booking but the tickets are already sold out you can buy tickets to Pelisor castle, which is also worth to be visited. The time slot that you have to choose here is (10:00-12:00 if you have the trip on Wednesday and for the rest of the week 9:15-12:00) 4) The guided tour will be just in Peles Castle. 5) PLEASE DO NOT BUY TICKETS FOR OTHER TIME SLOTS THAN THE ONE MENTIONED ABOVE! 6) The pick up point is ONLY at University Square at 7 AM, you will receive a message with all the details regarding your guide phone number and bus plate number one day in advance.
