Small Group Day Tour to Grand Canyon from Flagstaff

Experience the scenic beauty of Arizona on this small-group day trip from Flagstaff. Visit one of the world’s wonders, Grand Canyon National Park, at the South Rim, offering multiple views of the deepest and widest part of the entire Grand Canyon. Take in unforgettable views of classic southwestern landscapes with your knowledgeable guide while you drive through beautiful Northern Arizona. Enjoy the small-group tour limited to just 13 people in our custom van with high ceilings allowing for standing. After you are picked up in Flagstaff, enjoy the scenic drive through Coconino National Forest into Kaibab National Forest where you will be treated to Grand Canyon South Rim, the deepest and widest part of the entire Grand Canyon. Spend approximately 3 hours viewing nature's masterpiece. Part of the time is guided and part of the time is on your own. Depart the park mid-afternoon for a late afternoon arrival back to Flagstaff.

Itinerary

1. Grand Canyon South Rim

   You’ll experience approximately 2.5 hours within the National Park marveling at the beauty that is the Grand Canyon. You will be driven to viewpoints as well as have free time to walk to various viewpoints and points of interest. Visit the historic El Tovar Lodge, Hopi House, Mather Point or Yavapai Point (these viewpoints are subject to change), the Geology Museum and more incredible viewpoints! While at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited number of photographs, or enjoy lunch (own expense) and relax with the best seat in the house.

2. Hopi House

   You will have the opportunity to visit Hopi House Native American Museum. Modeled after the 1,000 year-old pueblo dwellings of the Hopi village in Old Oraibi, Mary Colter designed this building to house the sales of authentic Indian Arts and Crafts.

3. Visit this historic hotel right on the rim of the Grand Canyon, built in 1905. Many historic figures and celebrities have stayed at this lodge!

4. Coconino National Forest

   Enjoy the drive through Coconino National Forest, home to part of the largest contiguous Ponderosa pine tree forest in the world!

If you have a car that needs parking for the day, please park at the Flagstaff Airport - ECONOMY parking. It will cost you $6 for the day. We will pick you up at the north entrance to ECONOMY parking. We will reconfirm pick up details with you upon booking.

What to know before you go

• Service animals allowed
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Starting Jan 1st, 2026, the tour supplier is required by law to confirm US or Non-US citizenship which will determine if an additional entry fee is required. For non-US citizens, the tour supplier must collect an additional $100 per person, payable in advance to the tour supplier.
• Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own and notify supplier
• Minimum age is 3 years and guest must inform supplier they will provide car seats or boosters.
• Wheelchairs and walkers are acceptable as long as they fold up and can be slid into the vehicle. You must let the supplier know if you are bringing either.
• The Grand Canyon South Rim is a 7,000 foot elevation, please note this if you have concerns about altitude.
• There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
• You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.
• Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
• FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Any tours booked after 7:00PM Arizona time the night before the tour date might not be confirmed. You will likely have to meet at another hotel for pick up. Our office will contact you prior to 6:00am on the tour date.
