This hands-on workshop in Jaipur introduces you to block printing, a traditional art involving stamping wood-carved designs onto fabric using pigment dyes. Guided by master artisans at Creatis, you will explore the fundamental principles of this technique in a relaxed setting. Two options are available depending on your creative preference. The first option allows you to make four placemats in durable cotton-linen (approx. 35 x 20 in (50 cm)). The second option involves creating a scarf in soft cotton voile (approx. 55 x 182 cm). The workshop emphasises the process of slow and mindful creation. At the end of the session, you will take home the textiles you created during the activity.
