Koh Chang Exploration and Mangroves

Overview

Embark on a full-day excursion to discover the east side of Koh Chang, an area less visited by tourists. After your hotel pick-up, you will start with a stop at the White Sand Beach viewpoint before heading north. The itinerary includes a visit to the Koh Chang spirit house, the island's most significant site, featuring Chinese Buddhist influences. You will then reach the east coast to explore the Salak Kok mangrove forests by boat, with a choice between a traditional Thai boat or a kayak. The day continues in Salak Phet for a visit to a local temple and lunch at a traditional restaurant. The afternoon is dedicated to relaxation at the Shambala Beach Bar in Klong Son Bay, where you can enjoy the pool, the beach, and an included chilled drink. You will return to your resort in the late afternoon.

   Wat Salak Phet is the most famous and most colorful Buddhist temple on Koh Chang island.

   In the afternoon we will take you to Shambala Beach Bar in the beautiful Klong Son bay. This is one of the best kept secrets on Koh Chang and a great place for relax and swim in the beach pool. You can also walk on the beach and we will serve you one of the bars frozen drinks.
