Tour of the Best Wineries in Salento from Lecce

Overview

Embark on an in-depth exploration of the Salento vineyards departing from Lecce. Accompanied by an expert guide and former wine biochemistry researcher, you will discover the region's most representative estates during a full day dedicated to oenology. The itinerary is designed to provide a comprehensive view of the local wine culture. The service includes transport in an air-conditioned vehicle, lunch, and tastings of alcoholic beverages at the selected wineries. The experience is limited to a small group of up to 5 people, ensuring personalised guidance and detailed discussions on the specific characteristics of Salento wines.

Activity itinerary

We will start from the historic center of Lecce to arrive in the most important wine-growing areas of Salento. Once we arrive we will visit 3 wineries, with their productive part, the coop and we will do the tasting of their wines with a minimum of 3/4 labels per Cellar. In addition to tasting the wines we will visit the productive part of the farms and finally a typical vineyard with the traditional farming system called "apulian tree". In one of the 3 wineries we could have a full lunch with the best food products of Salento. At the end of the visits you will be taken back to the starting point.
