Itinerary

1. Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan)

   The most famous cave in Guilin — Reed Flute Cave. It is called a “natural art museum” due to the numerous beautiful stalactites and stalagmites inside it. Decorated with colorful spotlights and with intriguing shadows cast across the cave’s small pool, it’s as though you are looking at a beautiful Chinese painting. A karst cave on such a great scale as this and with such beautiful natural formations is a rare natural phenomenon in the world.

2. Guilin Yaoshan Mountain Scenic Resort

   After enjoy the fantastic karst landscape in Reed Flute Cave,we will drive about 20 minutes get to Yao Mountain.Yao Mountain is located in the northeast of Guilin city, it's about 8 kilometers far from city center.The main peak is 760 meters high, altitude is 909.3 meters , it is the highest mountain in Guilin city area.During take the cableway from the foot of the mountain to the top,you will see the peaks of the mountains,rivers, so amazing views.After enjoy beatiful view,we will visit a tea plantation.The Tea Plantation is also located in the Yao Mountain scenic area. It was Royal Tea Plantation of Jingjiang wangfu,that is the palace of a prince in Ming Dynasty. You will smell a strong fragrance of tea when you walk into the plantation. Natural,fresh air,singing bird and nice view. You can watch the tea picking process,traditional tea art performance, taste special local tea and learn the unique Chinese tea culture.

3. Daxu Ancient Town

   "Daxu"town was built in the 200 AD period and well-kept. The old street in town stretches 2 kilometers along the Lijiang River.You can see the uneven streets are covered with bluestone slabs and there are a few old houses, handwork shop, old barber shop and antique shop beside the street. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Daxu was the busy town for business, a lot of the merchants have the Clan Associations at here, such as Guangdong province, Hunan province, Jiangxi province, and mosques,the town was very prosperous until to the early years of the Republic of China. You’ll feel an authentic history there.
