This happens mainly because, during the afternoon, some stalls at the Adolpho Lisboa Municipal Market, especially those selling fish, fruits, and regional products.

At the Adolpho Lisbon Municipal Market, you will find a wide variety of typical and regional dishes, besides crafts and a lot of history present in its beautiful structure in the style of art nouveau. Tip: The morning is the best time to visit, as it is when you find fresh fruit, fish and vegetables.

Attention – Visiting Hours of the Amazonas Theater On September 15th from 9 am to 12:00 AM for visitation and on September 23, 24, and 25, 2026, the internal visitation will only take place from 9 am to 11:30 am, due to performances taking place at the venue. We will visit the Amazonas Theater and Largo de São Sebastião, two of Manaus's most important postcards. At this point of the tour, you will have time to walk peacefully, appreciate the historical architecture, visit the charming Church of São Sebastião, and take beautiful photos in one of the city's most iconic settings. The Amazonas Theatre, a symbol of the rubber era, impresses with its beauty and richness of detail, being one of the most important monuments in Brazil. ⚠️ Note: On Mondays, the theater is not open for internal visits due to maintenance, only external visits are available.
Parque Jeferson Peres
We will meet the Jefferson Park, a public space that honors an important politician who contributed to the development of Manaus. In ancient times, the area was occupied by palaphite houses, without adequate infrastructure and with precarious living conditions. With the PROSAMIM project, the families were relocated to decent homes, and the venue was transformed into an urban park. Today, the park is a pleasant space for leisure, hiking and cohabitation, frequented by families and visitors.
Feira da Manaus Moderna
At this point, we will make a guided walk through the traditional Banana Fair, passing through the fruits, fish and vegetables sectors, where it is possible to experience the daily life of local merchants and to know the diversity of regional products. Next we will visit the Adolpho Lisbon Municipal Market, focusing on the craft area, where you will find typical pieces of the Amazon and you will be able to learn more about the local culture. The tour is approximately 45 days long, providing an authentic experience, rich in flavors, colors and traditions of the region.
Palacio Rio Negro
The Rio Negro Palace was originally the residence of an important colonel during the rubber cycle, a period that marked the height of Manaus' wealth and development. With its imposing architecture and rich in detail, the venue preserves the history and elegance of that time. Today, the palace is one of the main historical points of the city, allowing visitors to learn more about the culture, politics and the distinctive past of the Amazon region. ⚡️ Attention: on Tuesdays, the site does not open for internal visitation due to maintenance, and only a panoramic (external) visit is carried out.
Museu da Cidade de Manaus
At this point in our itinerary, we will make a stop to visit the historic region of Manaus. We will visit the building where the City Museum is located externally, appreciating its architecture and importance to the municipality's history. We will also learn about the history of the old Indigenous Cemetery, which is now called Dom Pedro II Square, and take a 7-minute walk to see the architecture of some old houses in the rubber gold age. Next, we will see the old buildings and mansions that preserve characteristics of the Rubber Cycle period, a time of great economic development and urban transformation in Manaus. We will also have contact with elements that represent the history, culture, and identity of the city, including the tropics and historical spaces of the region. A special opportunity to learn a little more about the history of Manaus and understand how the rubber period contributed to the formation of the city we know today.
