Personalized Tour to Hierve el Agua and Mezcal Distillery

Overview

Our adventure begins at Hierve el Agua where we will hike to see the petrified waterfalls and have an opportunity to take great photos. After hiking Hierve el Agua, you'll be able to swim in the natural pools, admire the beautiful views of the mountains, and take more photos. After spending about 3 hours at Hierve el Agua, we will visit a artisanal mezcal distillery to learn about the process of making mezcal. The tour includes a generous mezcal tasting where you will learn about the different varieties of agave. This is a small group tour with a local expert guide, providing you with the best experience and knowledge about Oaxaca, its culture and traditions.

Itinerary

1. Hierve el Agua

   After meeting, we will drive 1 hour and 20 minutes to Hierve el Agua. When we arrive we'll hike to see the petrified waterfalls and have an opportunity to swim and take photos of the pools with gorgeous views of the mountains.

   We will visit an artisanal mezcal distillery to see the process of making mezcal, known as the "Drink of the Gods." You will have a generous tasting of different varieties of mezcal.
