An innovative jump system that is equipped with cables and ropes for a breathtaking freefall over the river. Both first-time jumpers and seasoned daredevils will enjoy the experience, which you can do solo or in tandem with a friend. Your professional guide ensures your safety and offers encouragement throughout your time at the Shotover River.

Not all swings are created equal. Perched 109m above the Shotover River, no other swing in the world has the unique combination of a 60m freefall down a vertical cliff face with heaps of different jumpstyles to enjoy our 200m swing. Throw in our spectacular location and our amazing staff and you’ve got the perfect mix for an experience of a lifetime.

• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• Minimum age: 10 years. Ages 10–13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Ages 14–15 need a parent or guardian to sign the check-in form.
• Maximum weight: 210kg solo, or 210kg combined for tandem. All participants must fit the harness provided.
• Operates in all weather conditions. Please dress appropriately and wear comfortable closed-toe shoes
• Mandatory shuttle departs from the Shotover Canyon Swing Shop, 34 Shotover Street, central Queenstown. Please check in 15 minutes before your trip time.
• Arthurs Point pickup is available if arranged before the day of your trip. Please contact our Reservations Team to arrange.
• Spectators must also be arranged in advance with our Reservations team as van seats are limited
• Children under 5 travel free as spectators. Add a note to your booking so we can save them a seat.
• Individuals who are pregnant are ineligible to participate due to safety restrictions.
• This activity can accommodate a maximum of 9 travelers.
• You will receive confirmation immediately when you book.
