After meeting your tour conductor, depart from and travel approximately 100 minutes to Naruko Gorge. Known as one of Tohoku's premier autumn foliage destinations, Naruko Gorge features a dramatic ravine carved by the Oya River and surrounded by steep cliffs and forested mountains. During autumn, the landscape transforms into a vibrant tapestry of red, orange, and yellow leaves, creating one of the region's most impressive seasonal displays. Take in sweeping views of the gorge and surrounding mountains while enjoying the crisp autumn atmosphere. The scenery changes throughout the season, offering a spectacular example of Japan's fall colors. Autumn foliage is typically at its best from mid-October through early November.
After approximately 60 minutes of travel, continue to Ginzan Onsen. This picturesque hot spring town is famous for its beautifully preserved wooden inns lining the Ginzan River. The nostalgic streetscape evokes the atmosphere of early 20th-century Japan and has become one of the country's most photographed hot spring destinations. Enjoy free time to stroll through the town at your own pace. Browse local souvenir shops, relax in a café, or visit the riverside footbath, where natural hot spring water flows beside the stream. The combination of historic architecture, mountain scenery, and seasonal colors makes Ginzan Onsen a wonderful place to experience the charm of rural Japan. Autumn foliage is typically at its best from late October through early November. After sightseeing, begin the return journey to Sendai. The journey back takes approximately 120 minutes. The tour concludes with arrival in Sendai at approximately 5:20 PM.
Meet at the East Exit Plaza on the 2nd floor of Sendai Station. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting time. The tour conductor will be holding a flag and a placard with the local tour operator's logo
