Silver Jewellery Making Class in Ubud

Overview

Located in the heart of the Ceking rice terraces, north of Ubud, this workshop invites you to learn the art of Balinese jewellery making. Guided by artisans with over 10 years of experience, you will design and craft your own piece, such as a bracelet, ring, earrings, or pendant. The class lasts approximately 2 hours and employs manual carving techniques. The experience includes 6 grams of pure silver for your creation, as well as bottled water and local fruit. Additional silver can be purchased at 80,000 IDR per gram. Local gemstones are also available for purchase to further personalise your jewellery. The class is open to children. Please note that if the session exceeds the allotted time, an additional fee of 75,000 IDR will apply.

Welcome to our silver class warm greetings from us.We are a small local Balinese family trying our hand at this silver-class business. It's located on the west side of the road, north of Cretya Ubud, just a 5-minute walk, and south of Tis Cafe Ubud, just a 3-minute walk. My husband, Komang, has approximately 10 years of experience in the Balinese silver jewelry industry. Komang learned to make silver jewelry in his hometown, as most people carve silver or copper jewelry in our small village. We've been renting a space in Tegallalang for approximately three years, teaching visitors the manual silver jewelry-making process and practicing our local techniques. You can design your own silver jewelry and have it made with us. You can take home your finished pieces, such as rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets, or other jewelry.
