Overview

This excursion takes you to explore the Rabaçal Valley and the 25 Springs trail, located in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Laurissilva forest. The journey begins on the Paul da Serra plateau before descending into the valley. The circuit includes a visit to the Risco waterfall. The return journey passes through an ancient 500-metre tunnel, leading to the south side of the island. Transport is provided by air-conditioned minibus with pick-up available in Funchal centre and Caniço. The tour is led by a professional local guide.

Pickup

Pickup included.

Pickup is included for guests staying at the designated hotels. We advise you to be ready and waiting in the hotel reception area 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. Our guides will wait approximately 5 minutes for each guest. Look out for our vans, which can be either white (smaller) or grey (larger). We strive to ensure a smooth and timely start to your adventure, though external delays can occur. If that happens, you will be updated on the day. One day before the activity, we may adjust the pickup time for your convenience.
