Travel through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the historical Scottish settlement of Strathalbyn. Continue on to the paddle steamer town of Goolwa, where you will have a brief tour of the town, including the wharf, barrage, and beach. On your way to Victor Harbor, cruise past the charming coastal town of Port Elliot, Middleton. Victor Harbor, South Australia’s most popular seaside village, you'll have free time to wander the main street, walk on the Causeway to Granite Island, or stroll along the beach. From here, sit back and relax while you view the stunning coast of Encounter Bay and Rosetta Head. Look out for The Bluff, which overlooks the township of Victor Harbor. Before returning to Adelaide, see some of the stunning southern metropolitan beaches of Port Noarlunga and Glenelg.

Itinerary

1. From your pickup at your hotel or b&b we will take a casual scenic drive through the picturesque Adelaide Hills as we make our way to the Scottish town of Strathalbyn which will be our first stop of the day. Here you'll be able to take a stroll or stop for coffee before we head off to the Murray Mouth.

2. Strathalbyn

   Travel through the picturesque Adelaide Hills to the historical Scottish settlement of Strathalbyn. We will have our first stop for a coffee or browse of the town.

3. Coorong National Park

   The Murray Mouth, near Goolwa in South Australia, is part of a dynamic system influenced by the flow of River Murray water from Lake Alexandrina via barrage releases and tidal movement from the Southern Ocean.

   Spend time exploring Victor Harbor and Granite Island. This is where you can purchase your lunch and spend arounf 2 hours at this beautiful tourist town. From here, sit back and relax while you view the stunning coast of Encounter Bay and Rosetta Head. Look out for The Bluff which overlooks the township of Victor Harbor before continuing through the popular wine region of McLaren Vale. Before returning to Adelaide, see some of the stunning southern metropolitan beaches of Port Noarlunga.
