Overview

Explore the remnants of the Cold War in Bratislava during a 2.5-hour private tour. Depending on the number of participants, the journey takes place in an iconic Czechoslovak Škoda car from the 1970s-1990s or a modern van for groups of 4 or more. The itinerary takes you off the beaten path to discover the architecture and landmarks of the socialist era. You will visit Petržalka, Slovakia's largest socialist housing estate and first prefabricated apartment block, as well as the Slavín Soviet memorial and the former Iron Curtain zone. The circuit also includes stops at unusual buildings such as the inverted pyramid of the Slovak Radio, the Kamzík TV tower, the 1980s parliament, and the SNP bridge.
