Bucharest Urbex Tour - Unique view into the capital's past

Overview

We will visit 3 or 4 locations, as time allows it, in a 6 hour time window in and around Bucharest. Some of the locations are: A scientific institute, 1800s defense forts, cinema, century old beer factory, abandoned communist era industry, abandoned planes and an abandoned hospital. It is not an activity for the faint of heart, so please be sure that you are prepared for an urban exploring adventure before joining.

Itinerary

1. Bucarest

   Abandoned factory that used to produce all sorts of metal components, from irrigation pumps to bomb shells. Some communist artefacts still remain under all the rubble.

2. Old abandoned research institute with beautiful interior and exterior details. Some documents and equipment still present inside.

   Century old beer factory. The factory complex is huge and the whole area can be explored, including the basement.

   Discarded airplanes in various states of decay. Some planes can be accessed on the inside
