Princely Court
With a history that goes back to the 15th century, this former princely court was used as a residence by some of the most famous princes of Southern Romania, including the legendary Vlad the Impaler.
Muzeul Viticulturii şi Pomiculturii Goleşti
Built in 1640, is the only fortified laic construction in the country. The very place where pastoral nature blends with tradition and history. Encompassing a beautiful pastoral scenery still filled with the scent of the blooming linden trees, a revamped mansion of one of the oldest Romanian aristocrat families, a small bucolic village museum and lots of stories behind.
Curtea de Arges Monastery
Is one of the most famous attractions in Romania. It’s also an excellent choice if you’re looking to discover centuries-old religious sites. Its unique architectural style makes it special even in Romania, a country that has hundreds of religious monuments. Built 500 years ago, the church became one of the most important in Southern Romania. Its original architecture inspired for centuries that of many other churches, but none came close to it.
