Snagov Monastery
Travelers will visit Snagov Monastery, located on a small island in Snagov Lake and believed to be the legendary burial place of Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure who inspired the Dracula legend. Guests will explore the monastery church, admire its historic frescoes, and learn about the history of Vlad Țepeș and his connection to Romanian medieval history. The guide will explain the myths and historical facts surrounding Dracula while visitors enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings of the monastery.
Slanic Salt Museum
Travelers will descend into Slanic Prahova Salt Mine, one of the largest salt mines in Europe. Visitors will explore the impressive underground chambers, learn about the history of salt extraction, and admire the massive carved salt walls. Guests will have free time to walk through the mine, enjoy the unique microclimate, and discover attractions inside the mine such as sculptures, recreational areas, and panoramic underground spaces.
