Join a one-day trip from Bucharest that starts at noon, giving you time to sleep a little longer and enjoy a relaxed morning during your vacation. Leave the city behind and head into the gentle hills of the Carpathians to discover one of Romania’s most unusual natural sights. Explore the Mud Volcanoes of Buzau, located in the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzau Land, where gases rising from underground shape a surreal, moon-like landscape of grey cones and cracked earth. Later, continue to the famous Dealu Mare wine region, known for its sun-bathed hills and long winemaking tradition. Visit a local winery and enjoy a guided wine tasting while discovering the character of Romanian wines.

Private: Enjoy an exclusive experience tailored entirely to your group. The itinerary is yours to customize as you please. Pickup included
First location - Muddy Volcanoes: Step onto a surreal, lunar-like landscape at the Paclele Mari site, part of the UNESCO Global Geopark Buzau Land. This rare geological phenomenon features miniature volcanoes created by natural gases rising from 3,000 meters deep, pushing cold liquid mud to the surface. As the mud dries, it forms a vast, cracked grey crust of "ground fogs" and bubbling craters that offer some of the most unique photography opportunities in Romania. It is a quiet, otherworldly experience that feels miles away from civilization. Second Location - Premium winery: Discover why the Dealu Mare region is often called the "Tuscany of Romania". Located on the same 45th parallel as Bordeaux, these sun-drenched hills are the birthplace of Romania’s most celebrated red wines, including the legendary Feteasca Neagra. You will visit a premium local winery for a private guided tour of the cellar and production area. The experience culminates with a curated tasting of 5-6 premium varieties paired with local artisanal snacks, allowing you to savor the rich, spicy, and fruity character of authentic Romanian terroir.
