1. Discover ‘Wild Cat Island’ as seen in the 1970‘s film ‘Swallows and Amazons’. Made famous by Arthur Ransome, Wild Cat Island lies towards the southern end of Coniston Water. In the book and films it is known as “Wild Cat Island”. See the secret harbour where the Swallows and Amazons moored their boats.
