Barbados Botanical Tour

Overview

This tour was designed by a group of travelers who loved the idea of visiting many of the botanical gardens available in Barbados. Ever since it’s conception it has remained a favorite with our guests.

Itinerary

1. Bridgetown

   Your driver will give you a brief tour of the historic city of Bridgetown inclusive of it’s Garrisons & Museums, National Heroes Square, Parliament, Chamberlain Bridge and the main streets?

2. Welchman Hall Gully

   An easy guided or self-guided walking tour of a tropical forest taking in both plants and animals.

3. Flower Forest

   A perfect place to retreat from the hustle of the world for a few hours. Breathe the pure, clean oxygen in easterly breezes that have just crossed an ocean and simply relax.

4. Bathsheba

   This serene East Coast village is a favorite amongst tourists and locals alike and is well known for its rock formations and it’s surfing culture.

5. Hunte's Gardens

   Hunte's Gardens in Barbados is A place of serenity where you can feel peace of mind and the tranquility of your soul whilst being surrounded by nature in some of the wonderous varieties it has to offer. Take a leisurely stroll through the tall palm trees of what once was a regular gully.

6. Andromeda Botanic Gardens

   A beautiful garden with self-guided walks through 6 acres planted with tropical plants, flowers & trees.

7. Tropical Garden Barbados

   Orchid World & Tropical Flower Garden is located on a six acre property, surrounded by sugarcane fields in the heart of the Barbadian countryside. At an elevation of approximately 800 ft above sea level, a number of tranquil rest stops in the garden offer you the ideal vantage point to take in the lovely country views. The location is ideal for growing and displaying the more than 1,000 Orchids currently on display as well as the thousands of caribbean plants and flowers.

Pickup included.

Pickups can also be arranged from any accommodation, whether guest house, villa or AirBnB. The name of your driver and your taxi number will be given beforehand. All Airport and Cruise Terminal pickups will be met with a sign bearing the group name as well as our company name.
